Buzo is conveniently located across from Craggy Nook Villas. This is a relatively new very trendy Italian restaurant which offers a great ambiance with a very modern décor. The food and drinks are great and the desserts are superb. They offer a great selection of good wines. The staff is very helpful and professional. Takeaway is available, so if the kids want to order pizza… you can get it to go!

Tapas is located on The Richard Haynes Boardwalk, also just a short walk away from Craggy Nook and it is a beautiful restaurant, we are there all the time. The food is mouthwatering. We enjoy Tapas whether we go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You sit right next to the waves smashing up against the boardwalk offering you an unbeatable view. Please refer to the link below and take a look at their menu, you will not be disappointed. The staff are very friendly and the bartender makes great cocktails. In the morning, we love walking to Tapas to start our day with a nice cappuccino. We recommend you visit Tapas for sure.

We consider Champers to be another great restaurant on the South Coast and it is also set by the water’s edge, offering a lively Caribbean designed atmosphere. The ambiance is perfect for a romantic date or just for fun with a group of friends. The food is luscious, they offer a great menu, drinks and desserts. A must visit! Reservations are recommended if you would like a good table on the terrace by the sea.

Cin Cin by the Sea is an exhilarating contemporary, beautifully designed restaurant. Set right by the sea as its name states, it offers a spectacular view of the Caribbean turquoise water. This epicurean destination serves typical Mediterranean-style cuisine with a Caribbean twist. The restaurant is astounding, it also offers an air-conditioned lounge bar which serves fabulous drinks. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. The food, desserts and service are excellent.

Their menu offers both Caribbean and internationally inspired cuisine.

7) Daphne’s

Daphne’s is a very established and well-known restaurant in Barbados. The restaurant is set on Paynes Bay beach so the view is wonderful. The ambiance is snazzy and romantic, The menu is a fusion of Italian favourites with a Caribbean zest making the food very appetizing. For those with a sweet tooth, we recommend that you leave some room for dessert, they offer such a great selection that makes it hard to pick! The dress code at Daphne’s is a bit strict at dinner time, they request that you dress casual elegant. Make sure that you arrive early to allow for time to enjoy some drinks at the bar. You will need a reservation in order to sit by the beach.

The setting for this restaurant is spectacular . The Cliff is overlooking the sea boasting exceptional views of the gorgeous turquoise sea. Really an unbelievable spot, the torch lit decks make this restaurant very unique, making the trip to St James completely worth it. The Cliff is adjacent to The Cliff Club House which is a more relaxed atmosphere. The ambiance at The Cliff Restaurant is romantic and luxurious, perfect for a Valentine’s dinner if you are visiting the island at that time of the year. The service is superb, lots of professional and friendly staff attentive to any need your may have. Do not miss the opportunity to see this gorgeous dining room. This restaurant is in the higher price range.
9) The Cliff Beach Club

The Cliff Beach Club is a bar/lounge/restaurant opened for lunch and dinner. The Cliff Beach Ckyb is tiered amphitheatrically over four layers which all face out to the sea. The roof is ingeniously covered by white sails. Colourful and delightful decoration is just fantastic with sharks hanging and glitter lamps and much more. At the top there is a great bar where you can pop for fabulous drinks with a fanciful ambiance designed in a very trendy and chic manner. Sitting next to the The Cliff Restaurant and by the sea as well, this restaurant is a must visit after a nice day at the beach for drinks and to enjoy a great sunset in a very fun environment.
10) The Tides

The Tides restaurant was built within a Barbadian home constructed after the Second World War. The coral stone and mahogany make it very special. As you can see from the photo below, the décor in this restaurant is colourful, trendy and even magical. They offer an eclectic fusion, specializing in fresh seafood. They also offer a vegetarian menu and a kids menu. The culinary and service experience that you will receive at The Tides is commendable!
